Trigger source sync
Run the board sync inline and return the COMPLETED run (counts + any error), so the UI gives an immediate, honest result instead of a queued-and-check-back flag. execute_source_sync never raises (it captures failures into the run + source status). The background worker still handles scheduled polls.
