Who uses the admin app
Your role decides which areas of the admin app you can reach.
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access to every area. |
| Approver | Sees only Approvals, to review and decide on completed inspections that require approval. |
| Inspector | Completes inspections in the field. Inspectors also have limited read access to the admin app to view their assigned work. |
How the sidebar is organized
The left sidebar groups every area into five sections: Workspace, Records, Knowledge, People, and Admin. On desktop you see the full sidebar with all groups. On a tablet it collapses to an icon rail. On a phone the sidebar becomes a slide-in drawer with a bottom tab bar for the four daily views: Dashboard, Inspections, Approvals, and Schedules. The phone drawer shows only the views that are useful on a phone, with a note that template building, report design, and admin settings are available on desktop.

Terminology
Some sidebar labels follow the terms your organization configures, so what you see in the app may differ from the defaults above. This applies to Inspections, Clients, Locations, Templates, and External assignees. Other labels, such as Response sets, Documents, and Notices, stay fixed. See Core, shell, and the three surfaces for how this works.
