Notices

Broadcast a message to your team, attach a document, and track who has acknowledged it.

Notices let you broadcast a message to everyone on your team, to a specific role, or to named individuals. You can attach a document from your library and optionally require recipients to acknowledge that they have read the notice. A notice cannot be edited after you send it.

The notices list

The Notices page shows every notice your organization has sent. While the list loads, Auditmark shows a loading indicator. When you have not sent any notices, the page reads "No notices yet."

Each row shows three columns:

ColumnWhat it shows
TitleThe notice title. A "Must read" badge appears next to the title when acknowledgement is required.
AudienceWho the notice went to: Everyone, a role (shown as "Role: inspector" or "Role: admin"), or "Specific people".
ReachThe count of acknowledgements over the total recipients, for example 3/10.

Two actions sit at the end of each row:

The Reach button opens a side panel that breaks down who has acknowledged the notice and who is still pending.

The Delete button permanently removes the notice and its acknowledgement record. Auditmark asks you to confirm in a dialog ("Delete this notice?") before proceeding. This cannot be undone.

Send a notice

Select New notice at the top of the page to open the compose dialog. Fill in the fields below, then select Send. The button reads "Sending..." while the notice is on its way, and Auditmark confirms with a "Notice sent" message.

Title

A short subject for the notice, for example "What is this about?". Recipients see this first. The Send button stays disabled until you enter a title.

Message

Additional detail. This field is optional, so leave it blank when the title is self-explanatory.

Audience

Choose who receives the notice:

OptionWho receives it
EveryoneAll team members.
RoleInspectors or Admins. Select the role in the field that appears below.
Specific peopleOne or more named individuals. Check each person in the list that appears. Each person shows their name, or their email if no name is set.

The Send button stays disabled until the audience is fully resolved: a role chosen for Role, or at least one person checked for Specific people.

Attach document (optional)

Pick a document from your library to include with the notice. The default is "None". Recipients can open the attached document from the notice. See Documents for how to manage your library.

Require acknowledgement

Turn this switch on to ask recipients to confirm they have read the notice. When it is on, the notice title shows a "Must read" badge in the list, and the Reach panel tracks who has and has not acknowledged. Leave it off for informational notices where tracking is not needed.

View reach

Select Reach on any row to open the reach panel. Its header shows the count of acknowledgements over the total recipients, for example "3 of 10 acknowledged". The panel has two sections:

Acknowledged lists each person who has confirmed, with the date and time they acknowledged. When no one has acknowledged yet, it reads "No acknowledgements yet."

Pending lists each person who has not yet acknowledged. When everyone has confirmed, it reads "Everyone has acknowledged."

People appear by email address in both sections.

Notices cannot be edited

You cannot change a notice after you send it. To correct or update information, send a new notice and delete the old one if appropriate.

  • Documents: manage the document library you attach to notices.
  • People & access: view and manage the team members who appear in the audience and reach lists.
